Mother’s Day is just around the corner—and what better way to show your love than by shopping local and supporting the small businesses that make Slave Lake special?

From May 1 to May 10, 2025, the community is coming together for the Shop Local, Celebrate Moms Campaign, an exciting initiative that highlights the creativity, heart, and dedication of our local entrepreneurs.

šŸŽ Thoughtful Gifts, Local Love

This year, make Mother’s Day truly meaningful by choosing unique gifts crafted with care. Our campaign will showcase a variety of local retailers, salons & spa, artisans, and restaurantsĀ offering exclusive deals and handcrafted items perfect for every kind of mom. Think:

  • Homemade soaps & aromatic candles

  • Custom flower arrangements

  • Handmade jewelry

  • Gourmet treats & locally made delights

  • Stylish apparel & accessories

Whether you're shopping early or looking for last-minute inspiration, you'll find something special in our these local retailers.

šŸ›ļø Why Shop Local?

When you shop local, you’re doing more than buying a gift—you’re investing in Slave Lake’s future. Local businesses reinvest more into the community, support local jobs, and bring character to our town. In fact, every dollar spent locally helps keep money circulating in our economy.

Choosing to shop in town is a simple yet powerful way to help build resilience in our local economy.

Let’s make this Mother’s Day a celebration of moms andĀ community pride!
