Dancin’ Kids Slave Lake Inc. (DKSL)
They are committed to being a dance studio where students can develop physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially through the discipline of dance. Established in 1989, Heather Auger and Chelsea Lucas took ownership of the Studio in 2017. Both Heather and Chelsea started their dance careers at Dancin’ Kids in the late 80’s and early 90’s and hope to continue on its legacy for many years to come.
As a progressive, inclusive studio open to students of all abilities, body types, cultures, genders, and identity orientations, they welcome all the children and adults of our community and promise to keep them uplifted in love, friendship, admiration, and respect.

Stage North Association
Our mandate is to improve the quality of life for the people of the Lesser Slave Lake Region by promoting and facilitating access to and awareness of a variety of performing arts.
Despite the pandemic, Stage North has endeavored to continue to serve the community, hosting a candidate forum, collaborating on a Christmas coffeehouse, and providing street performers for the summer All In celebration. The Legacy Centre is owned by the Wildfire Legacy Corporation and operated by the Town of Slave Lake. Built as part of the recovery efforts from the 2011 wildfire, the Legacy Centre is home to the Elks Hall which includes a fully equipped theatre, a commercial kitchen, and 2 meeting rooms.
The Legacy Centre is a great venue for concerts, plays, banquets, weddings and more.
