Soul Full- A Digital Economy Program Success Feature

Featuring Sheila of Soul Full

We are excited to introduce Sheila Brown, the owner of Soul Full Cafeteria at Northern Lakes College in Slave Lake. In 2022, Sheila turned her dream into reality by opening Soul Full after working there as an employee. Her passion for becoming a restaurant owner was inspired by the previous owner, and she has since created a welcoming spot for students, faculty, and locals to enjoy delicious and healthy food.

Sheila has a strong passion for cooking and takes pride in using fresh, locally sourced ingredients in all of her dishes. Furthermore, she has tailored her menu to include vegetarian and vegan options to cater to diverse dietary preferences. Beyond the food being served at the cafeteria, Sheila has created a warm and inviting atmosphere where customers can relax, socialize, and enjoy the company of others. Soul Full Cafeteria has quickly become a beloved spot in Northern Lakes College, and Sheila is grateful for the opportunity to share her love of food and community with others.

Supporting Sheila on her digital journey, the Digital Service Squad Fatima played a pivotal role in elevating Soul Full's online presence. Their assistance empowered Sheila to create a Google My Business profile and provided coaching on how to use Canva to design captivating menus for her weekly Facebook posts. Digital Service Squad also designed their newest website to further enhance their online visibility.
