The Lesser Slave Lake Beachfest Volunteer Committee, in partnership with Community Futures Lesser Slave Lake Region, is bringing the community together for an unforgettable two-day celebration—Beachfest 2026: Prehistoric Shores.


Step into a world where summer fun meets prehistoric adventure! This year’s theme, Prehistoric Shores 🦖, transforms Slave Lake into a vibrant, family-friendly destination filled with exciting activities, entertainment, and community spirit. Whether you're a local resident or visiting from nearby communities, Beachfest is your chance to enjoy the sun, connect with others, and support local businesses.

Get ready to build, create, and make unforgettable memories at the Beachfest 2026 Sandcastle Competition! Gather your team, showcase your creativity, and enjoy a fun-filled day of sun, sand, and community spirit at Devonshire Beach.

🦖 Dino Race Mechanics – Beachfest 2026


How It Works

  • Participants will race while wearing inflatable dinosaur costumes.

  • Racers must stay within the designated race area.

  • The first racer to cross the finish line wins.

Rules

  • No pushing, tripping, or blocking other participants.

  • Costumes must stay inflated during the race.

  • Follow instructions from volunteers and event staff at all times.

The Participant agrees that Community Futures Lesser Slave Lake Region and other service providers participating in any CFLSLR program may store Participant Data (including any Personal Data) in secure servers in Canada and may access that Participant Data (including any Personal Data) from these servers from time to time.
