About The Event

πŸ‹ Lemonade Day 2026

What if one small lemonade stand could spark a lifetime of confidence?

On June 13, 2026, youth across the Lesser Slave Lake Region will open their very own lemonade stands β€” and take their first real steps into entrepreneurship.

Lemonade Day is more than a fun event.

It’s a hands-on business experience designed to teach young people how to:

  • Start and run their own small business

  • Set goals and make a plan

  • Budget and manage money

  • Deliver great customer service

  • Understand profit, savings, and giving

Through guided workshops and support from Community Futures Lesser Slave Lake Region, participants learn how to turn an idea into action β€” and see what they’re capable of.

πŸ’š Why Lemonade Day Matters

When youth learn how to build something of their own, it changes how they see themselves.

Lemonade Day helps young people:

🌱 Build confidence

🌱 Strengthen problem-solving skills

🌱 Develop financial literacy

🌱 Practice leadership and communication

🌱 Experience the pride of earning their own money
